
Salim “Sam” Y. Homsy, 73, of Indianapolis passed away on May 2, 2016. Sam was born to Joseph and Chamouni (Chamoun) Homsy on February 27, 1943 in Beirut, Lebonon. He worked as a tailor and entrepreneur. Sam was known as a traditional and true family man. He is survived by his wife Najah Homsy; children Nancy and Joe Homsy; and sisters Samira Touma, Nadia Saccal, and Mary Khayat.
A Funeral Service will be held at Indiana Funeral Care, Harry W. Moore Chapel, 8151 Allisonville Road, on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 12:00 noon. Father Phil Bowers will officiate. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am and will last until the time of service. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery.
